About KaamAyega
A marketplace for your neighbourhood, not the whole internet
KaamAyega helps people in the same society, building or sector buy, sell, rent, lend and give away everyday things. The study table your neighbour no longer needs, the drill you need for one afternoon, the winter clothes your kids outgrew — they're all closer than you think.
Community first
We believe the best marketplace is the one downstairs. Buying from a neighbour means less travel, less packaging, fewer scams and more things reused. Lending and giving away build the kind of trust that makes a society feel like a community.
Our privacy principles
No addresses, ever
Listings show your society, sector and locality — never a flat number or street address.
Numbers stay private
Your phone number and email are only used to log in. Neighbours reach you through chat.
Approximate distances
We measure between communities, not homes, so nobody can pinpoint where you live.
You're in control
Report listings, comments or members. Delete conversations and listings anytime.
Safe interaction guide
- 1Meet in a common, well-lit area — the society gate, lobby or clubhouse.
- 2Check the item properly before you pay. Use UPI or cash on the spot.
- 3Never share OTPs, bank details or pay an advance to someone you haven't met.
- 4For rentals and lending, agree on the deposit and return date in chat so it's on record.
- 5Bring a family member or friend for high-value exchanges.
- 6If something feels off, stop and report it. We'd rather you be safe.
